Grin & b{e}ar{e}

Teeth glisten as your heft I shoulder

Atlantean, world hoist upon our back

Bowed & yoked asunder

This surfeit load sounds whistles to the emptiness

All assumed all withheld all intended ignorance

Hunger pangs ring sharp

Your voice a pavlovian bell

Reveries of consumption summoned at the trill

Within this baptismal fire

Blazing mouth agape

We swallow the world

&

you whole along with it

Round belly now pregnant with tragedy and with farce

as

I roil & belch & cradle this wellspring clutch

The alchemical womb curing what it may, labours

God willing dust to dust
